so many sleepless nights
dreaming of my deepest love
half a world away
and I pray

give me freedom from this storm
freezing me to the bone
show me a light in the dark
please guide me to safer waters
my soul is starving for the light
all I want is to make my home
and try to find my way

full of longing, I cry
to see my deepest love

let my toes touch the land
